Browser Lock allows you to password-protect all your open Chrome tabs with a single click. When activated, all tab content is hidden and replaced with a lock screen.
Your password is hashed using SHA-256 before storage. The actual password is never stored — only its hash. This means even if someone accessed OneBuddy's storage, they couldn't reverse-engineer your password.
To set up Browser Lock: navigate to the Privacy section in the OneBuddy side panel, click Browser Lock, and set your password. You'll be asked to confirm it.
Auto-Lock: Configure the auto-lock timer to automatically lock your browser after a period of inactivity (e.g., 5, 10, or 30 minutes). This protects your tabs when you step away from your desk.
When locked, all tab content is completely hidden — not minimized or obscured, but replaced with the lock screen. Entering the correct password restores full access to all tabs.
You can customize the lock screen appearance while maintaining full security.
