OneBuddy's ad blocker can be configured to block specific types of ads while allowing others. Open the Privacy section in the side panel and click Ad Blocker.
Ad Types: Toggle blocking for YouTube ads, popup windows, banner advertisements, and overlay ads independently. Each toggle gives you granular control.
YouTube Ad Blocking: When enabled, OneBuddy blocks pre-roll ads, mid-roll interruptions, and display ads on YouTube. This works on both the YouTube website and embedded YouTube players.
Per-Site Whitelist: Add websites to your whitelist to allow ads on sites you want to support. Click "Manage Whitelist" to add, remove, or view your whitelisted domains.
The ad blocker works in real-time as pages load. Blocked elements are removed before they render, so you won't see flickering or layout shifts.
Ad blocking settings persist across browser sessions. Your whitelist and toggle preferences are saved locally and applied automatically.
